Hair loss cure

When you are suffering from a condition like Alopecia (loss of hair), it can be rather daunting following the way the condition is perceived in magazines and on newsprint. Rather surprisingly, there are hundreds of solutions for hair loss around, although narrowing it down to just one or two that are suitable for you can be the difficult part.

My first piece of advice is to visit your Doctor. They are the first port of call for anyone concerned about a particular condition, whether mental or physical, and they have the power to conduct tests and give out prescribed medicines (if this is what you need of course). They also have the resources to pass you on to a specialist, say a dermatologist, if your hair loss is thought to be related to skin conditions, and to a pharmacy if your thinning hair can be treated using over the counter products.

With this in mind, you may want to try natural remedies as a method of improving the appearance of your scalp and hair. Rather than trying even more medicines, shampoos and other ingredient-full products that we honestly don't know anything about, then have you considered finding out more about herbal and more organic hair loss remedies?

Obvious as it may be, natural ingredients are contained in every single product we use. As an example, Chamomile can found in shampoo which is applied to the hair, it is also a tea drink, and can be used in aromatherapy for use on the skin - just one example showing you that a natural plant or plant extract can have so many uses. So by using alternative remedies as a solution to hair loss can be a superb way of helping not just one but two or more parts of your body, improving overall health.

Nettles to Improve Hair Loss?
For hundreds of years, natural ingredients have been used to aid general health and wellbeing. Things like nettle, for instance, may be a general garden weed but with its long history of being used traditionally for treating arthritis and also encouraging hair growth, it's a fabulous plant to use. This particular plant is now harvested to put into herbal remedies, whether in tablet or liquid form, and can normally be found at stores that specialize in herbal supplements (Holland & Barrett is an example, UK).

During my research I found that clinical studies have taken place regarding extracts taken from nettle plants and roots, and it was found to be effective in a number of things which included stimulation of hair growth. Oh, and it's an aphrodisiac too!

Please be aware that drinking nettle tea, or consuming tablets containing nettle, can cause side effects in those taking it.

As so many cases of Alopecia, or hair loss, are diagnosed each day it is important to know the cause of it. In most people, your hair loss is predetermined by genetics. In other cases, severe stress, surgery, shock, pregnancy (amongst many others) or even the medication you are taking can cause loss of hair and balding so using alternative remedies for hair loss in men and women is often a very good option rather than spending so much of your time trying costly products.
